Diane Fowlie

Obituary of Diane Fowlie

Diane Roberta Fowlie-Park (Sellars)
Passed away October 30, 2017 in her 64th year at Erie Shores Hospice, in Leamington,  surrounded by her family. She passed peacefully after a short but courageous illness with cancer.
Cherished mother of Dan (Tammy), Jeffery(Jen), Adam (Hailey), Wesley, a loving grandmother to Jordan, Danielle, Mitchell, Michael, Madison, Shaylin and Joel and great grandmother to Alivia.

Predeceased by her parents Phyllis and Gordon Sellars and brother Rick, and ex-husband Dave Park.  She is survived by her sisters Gail and Susan.   Aunt Diane will be sadly missed by all of her nieces and nephews but especially by Lisa, Jennifer Michael (Stephanie) and many cousins, particularly Debbie, Pam and Karen and ex-husband and life long friend Dan Fowlie Sr.

Diane will be sadly missed by all of her family for whom she lived her life. She loved her children unconditionally and dedicated her life to them. And when she spoke of her grandchildren, her eyes lit up and it was obvious how deeply she loved all of them.

Diane was a loyal friend, who never said no to a good bingo game. She loved life and she was the kind of person always gave more then she got.

A special thank you to the Erie Shores Hospice dedicated staff and volunteers, who were all so kind and caring to Diane and so accommodating to our family.

Jeffrey, Adam and Wesley who kept 24hour vigil at your mothers bedside, lovingly watching over her to ensure that she was never alone or in need,  demonstrates your love and dedication to her.  Shaylin who said goodbye to her grandmother in such a special way, as only she could do, will always be remembered. Thank you Shaylin.

As per Diane's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration Mass will be held at St. Clements Church, 745 Duke St. Cambridge Ont. on November 11, 2017 At 10:00 am, Reception following.
