After 35 years of service, Gordon retired from H.J Heinz Company. Most of those years were spent mentoring young eager to learn individuals who he shaped into the great millwrights and the men they are today. He enjoyed many years of fishing and hunting with his great group of wild, lifelong friends. He was a very humble man who put his heart and soul into his family. He loved nothing more than watching his grandchildren grow providing his guidance and support to his family when it was needed. His guiding hand will be on their shoulders forever. He was tough as nails but deep down he was known as a gentle giant. He was an amazing man that will leave us at a great loss now that he is gone. The family wishes to express our sincere thanks to Dr Eaton and staff as well as the dedicated ICU staff at Victoria Hospital, for the care he received.A Special thanks to Highbury Canco for honouring Gords years of dedication by lowering their flag to half mast.
