Our condolences to my cousins on the loss of my Tante Agnes. I have fond memories of visiting the family on Fraser Rd and sharing in the bounties of the large apricot tree behind the house. It was nice to connect with some of you at the Leamington Mennonite Home as you visited your mother and we were visiting our mother. We hope you find peace with your mother's passing.
By the way, I loved the Memorial Video as I was able to see the next generations and I particularly like those Corn Fest t-shirts.
Love,
William Cornies & Susan Mackay

Dear Cornies cousins,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mother. My memories of your mom are of a cheerful, kind and gracious woman who always welcomed us into your home. Maybe it was the physical resemblance of our fathers, but I always felt a great warmth and kinship from your parents. "Dave and Agnes" were names spoken at our house with affection. My siblings and I even had the privilege of growing up on what, until 1962, had been your Grandfather Neufeld's farm. Your mother's warm smile seemed always with her, even to the last time I saw her at the Mennonite Home. May you find peace and comfort amid your sadness. Love from Larry and Jacquelyn

It was always fun getting together with the Cornies cousins. So thankful to have memories of these special times with extended family. I have also enjoyed fun times with Sharon in the earlier school years. Aunt Agnes was so kind at allowing pajama parties and sleepovers! It has already been mentioned that she was also a wonderful seamstress. I definitely recall thinking to myself the nice outfits that Aunt Agnes had sewn for Linda and Sharon. How I secretly wished that someone could sew that way for me!
May you all cherish the good times and memories. With love and sympathy , Ruth and Erwin

To the Agnes Cornies family I am so sorry for the loss of your dear mother. I was friends with Sharon during high school and your mother baked me a delicious chocolate cake for my birthday. I can still remember thinking how that was the best cake ever. Your mom was always such a pleasant lady.

Linda and I were friends throughout high school. That meant I got to spend a lot of time in the Cornies household. Agnes (Mrs. Cornies, to me) was very warm and welcoming each time I was there. I was interested in learning to sew at that time and will never forget all the time she spent with me giving me tips on what thread to use, patterns, colours. She was a special person to me. My husband and I extend our deepest condolences to the family. Erna Neufeld
