Born January 28, 1922 in The Hague, The Netherlands and passed away peacefully in her 100th year on December 5, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Quintin Slabbekoorn (2005). Loving mother of the late Chris Slabbekoorn (2020) and surviving wife Tammy, late Virginia Slabbekoorn (1989) and Astrid Sudds and husband Tom. Cherished grandmother of Aaron (Hannah) Sudds, Alyssa Sudds Ambrose (John Hamilton), Amy Slabbekoorn, Janine Mastronardi (Vince), and Blair Slabbekoorn. Adored great-grandmother of Morgan, Breeann, Eliana, Evangeline, Liam, Thomas, Elijah and Enzo. Predeceased by her siblings Diny, Helen, Jo, Bart and John. Survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and The Netherlands. Before immigrating to Canada, Wilhelmina spent a few years in the army. She was a private person and enjoyed her home and yard. Family and pets were very important to her and she loved them dearly. In her earlier years, she could always be found cooking, gardening or playing scrabble with Dad. Special thank you to Dr. Moncur, the staff at Leamington Chartwell and The entire staff of 2 East at The Sunparlor Home for your care and compassion. As per her wishes cremation has taken place, a family memorial service will take place. In memory and if so desired, memorial donations may be made to The MS Society, to the Windsor Essex County Humane Society or to the Kittenaide Program.
