It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Helena on January 26, 2022 at 66 years of age. Reunited with her loving parents Henry and Katharina Penner and late husband Henry Hildebrandt. Loving wife of Frank Thiessen with whom she shared 7 years of marriage. Loving mother of Jake Hildebrandt and wife Helen, Tina Neufeld and husband Isaac and Nancy Bergen and husband John. Much loved step-mother of Martha Giesbrecht and husband Benny, Ed Thiessen and wife Koanita, Will Thiessen and wife Monica and Len Thiessen and wife Lindsey. Cherished grandma of Nicole, Brandon (Maria), Lucas, Tyler, Caleb, Liam, Chloe, Andrew, Jared, Darren, Tristan (Natalie), Felicia, Tiffany, Vanessa, Liam, Levi and Lucas. Helena will also be missed dearly by her siblings, many extended family and friends. Visiting at Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) on Sunday January 30, 2022 from 2-4 pm. Funeral Service will be held at New Reinland Mennonite Church, 1330 Mersea Road 6, Wheatley, on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 1 pm. Interment at Graceland Cemetery, Ruthven to follow. Due to COVID restrictions, visitation and funeral celebration is limited to a specific number of visitors. Only those with an appointment will be allowed in.
